Inspriation:
When you think of New York City it evokes a certain type of imagery. The skyline and the buzzing city with its crowded streets full of scrambling people.  At any one intersection you may find uber-executives, contemplative artists, the chic and the cool, the hungry and the homeless. The designers Jan Hilmer, and Lori Selliger of Bootzwalla, both of whom hail from New York, do well to describe that diversity in their designs.  In Jan Hilmer's leather jackets, rings, leather bracelets and necklaces and Bootzwalla's fur/faux fur helmets, shawls and boots, you can see an articulate bridge of the edgy high fashion of New York to the gritty underground of the West Coast. With my photographs I sought to capture the essence of the clothing and artfully create the other world that these characters live.

Jan Hilmer is currently working on his next line of leather Jackets. Bootzwalla is working on expanding their line to include a body collection.

I am currently showing my work at the 333 Gallery in Sausalito, CA. In addition to my photography, I have recently launched " Sequoia" the women's line for the fashion label Eion 2013.
